Cheesy Fig & Ham Sliders

Pairs with Chardonnay
Makes 12 sliders

INGREDIENTS

1 12-pack of KING'S HAWAIIAN® Original Sweet Rolls
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon dijon mustard
3 tablespoons fig jam
½ pound thinly sliced black forest ham
1 ½ cups shredded white cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 tablespoon everything but the bagel seasoning
DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

2. Cut the King’s Hawaiian rolls in half to make one giant top and bottom. Use a serrated knife and cut slowly to try to make the top and bottom as even in size as possible.

3. Spread the mayo and mustard over the bottom bun. Spread the fig jam over the top bun.

4. Layer the ham and cheese over the bottom rolls. Place the tops of the rolls onto the sandwiches.

5. Melt the butter (in the microwave or in a small skillet) and brush it over the tops of the rolls. Pour it over the tops of the rolls. Shake everything bagel seasoning over top of the rolls.

6. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 10 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 2 minutes, or until the cheese is melty.

7. Enjoy with a glass of Woodbridge Chardonnay.
