This is the premiere bottling of our very special Crème Solaire, Woodbridge's first "sherry" style wine. This offering epitomizes Woodbridge's heritage of "small winery traditions" instilled by Robert Mondavi. Traditional sherry is a fortified wine made from white grapes that are grown near the town of Jerez, Spain. Sherry is produced in a myriad of styles, ranging from dry, light versions to dark and heavy, to sweet (cream sherry) dessert wines.
Woodbridge Winemaker's Selection Crème Solaire offers rich and silky, brown sugar and vanilla aromas evolve into swirling layers of caramel, maple syrup. Subtle spicy nuances culminate with a candied walnut finish. Warm and inviting, share this wine with friends around the campfire (did someone say S'Mores?), or with a special someone on a cool evening. Crème Solaire is a perfect wine to pair with a blue-veined Manchego, dried fruits and nuts.Where to BuyEat & Drink
