Woodbridge Chardonnay-Drenched Fruit Salad
Pair with Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi Chardonnay
Makes 4-6 servings
¼ cup Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi Chardonnay
¼ cup water
Juice of 1 orange (about ¼ cup)
½ cup white granulated sugar
2 pints blueberries
4 pints strawberries, hulled and quartered
2 pints blackberries
1/4 cup mint leaves, thinly sliced
Place the Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi Chardonnay, water, orange juice and sugar into a small saucepan and place over high heat. Stir to combine and bring to a boil.
Turn the heat to low and simmer 15-20 minutes to thicken until syrupy. Set aside until cool.
Add fruit and mint to a large bowl. Pour cooled syrup over the fruit, little by little, and toss to combine.
